Giftmas Ficlets

I honestly thought I posted these months ago. My apologies. :(

Tent!Ficlet

Zack wondered absently if he should feel guilty. He supposed he should feel at least a little bad. After all, the other spectators looked devastated, some even horrified. One wept in his partner’s/boyfriend’s/something’s arms while the other man patted him gingerly on the back.

If nothing else, Zack figured he should be cowering a little. Sephiroth stood beside him, and Zack knew without looking that his arms were still crossed tightly over his chest. Zack could feel his scowl burning into the side of his head.

Unfortunately, what Zack should have been feeling and what he was feeling were two entirely different things. “Go, Cloud, go!” he howled, watching Cloud and Vali leave the other chocobos in the dust.

Bribe to get to the Golden Saucer? 250 gil.

Getting Vali to the Golden Saucer, including paying for the casualties on the way? 1,000 gil.

Knowing Vali had just won him over 50,000 gil?

Priceless.

Chaos!Ficlet

Chaos watched the young blond from behind Valentine’s eyes, recognizing him even if he had never seen him before in his life. He would know that scent anywhere.

It was like his own, after all.

Determined to ignore both the blond and Chaos’ snarls, Valentine tried to close the lid to his coffin again, determined to trap them both again with the darkness and scent of old blood. The blond kept persisting, though, and Chaos was proud to know how this would end before Valentine finally relented.

The blond reeked of the Planet’s blood and the Calamity, but more importantly, Chaos could scent himself, even if he could see nothing of himself in the blond’s flat-faced features. Maybe in the blond’s blue eyes, so fierce and determined, but that could come for the bitch, too, the fearless one who lived in the cold death.

Cloud, the cub was named. Cloud.

Chaos prodded at Valentine again but the stubborn human didn’t hear him, bound in his self-made cages even more tightly than Chaos was bound. For now, Chaos was willing to relent.

Let the human deny the truth until the sun was eaten. It didn’t matter. Two of his blood now roamed the Planet, warriors both.

If Chaos could have, he would have roared to the stars.

Crack!Mpreg!FMA Ficlet

Ling should have expected the vase to the face. He really, really should have expected the vase.

Except even when he was on the ground, blood pouring from his nose, flowers limp on his head, he couldn’t quite get over the shock.

He had an heir.

With Edward.

Huh. Maybe he could get away with not having concubines after all.

“You knocked me up, you bastard!“ Edward was howling from the other side of the room. Ling distantly noted that, while Alphonse was restraining his brother from getting off the table, he was making no move to stop him from grabbing something else to throw at Ling. “Do you know what this means?”

“I’m going to be an aunt!” Winry exclaimed, clapping her hands. In the process, she dropped the clipboard with Edward’s blood-test results, and Edward quickly grabbed it and threw it at Ling’s head.

“He needs to be castrated,” Alphonse offered, his voice an ominous growl. It quickly reverted to its earlier soothing tone when Edward reached too far trying to grab a wrench. “Brother, the baby --”

“The Gate has one hell of a sense of humor,” Pinako drawled. Smirking, she left the room, fingers twitching slightly in search of a nicotine fix.

“You can be my bride,” Ling breathed, right before the wrench caught him between the eyes. He dropped to the floor again, passing out to visions of Edward in a dress and to the sounds of Edward’s lovely voice still screaming obscenities.
