Someday I’ll learn to love these scars
Mar. 10th, 2011 09:32 pmI spent the last two days tearing everything apart looking for my schedule book. When you have multiple cases with countless things to do on each case -- and that's not counting the home visits -- those books are necessary. I was given a new one today, after tearing apart my apartment, my car, and my work desk. What happens when I get home? The cats had thrown a party, and in doing so had uncovered my schedule book...wherever they had hidden it. Wha?
Work has kept me on the road a lot lately. I have six training days this month and several court days, and when you have a court day, you pretty much have to prepare to plan nothing else for that day. That leaves me with very few days to get a month's worth of work in. Writing has occurred on lunch breaks and between visits, but I'm usually too tired by the time I get home to actually type them up.
Missy is growling behind me. *sighs* I love Calypso, but she is the master of "I'm not touching you."
I'm also getting subpoenaed for a criminal trial. For a case (and client) I only received relatively recently. Reviewing the records is going to kill even more of my month. Eep.
Four days of training next week. I'm taking notebooks. Wish me luck.
